Repair Policy

At UCHUHOUSE, every repair begins with an assessment of the unit's condition.

In many cases, the cause of a malfunction cannot be determined from the outside alone. We evaluate the actual unit to properly assess its condition.

We first carry out an inspection, and then propose only the necessary work.

Inspection

Inspection fee (tax included): Standard equipment: ¥6,600 / Multi-channel equipment (e.g. mixers): ¥8,800

The inspection includes the following: operational check, internal and external condition check, identification of faulty areas, and determination of whether repair is required.

During the inspection process, minor cleaning or contact treatment that can be addressed within this scope may also be carried out.

In some cases, the condition may improve at this stage.

Repair & Maintenance

Based on the inspection results, we propose the necessary work.

This may include disassembly, parts replacement, and adjustment, depending on the condition of the equipment.

An estimate will be provided in advance, and work will proceed after your confirmation.

Pricing

Repair costs vary depending on the condition of the unit and the work required.

As a general guideline: minor issues (such as contact problems or simple parts replacement) are approximately ¥8,000–¥15,000; power supply or circuit repairs (such as capacitor degradation or power issues) are approximately ¥15,000–¥40,000; complex or severe issues may exceed ¥40,000.

These are estimates only and may vary depending on the model and condition. If parts replacement is required, parts costs will be charged separately.

In such cases, details and costs will be provided in advance before proceeding.

The inspection fee will be applied toward the repair cost if the repair is carried out.

If No Repair is Performed

Based on the inspection, choosing not to proceed with repair is also an option.

For example, if the cost is not justified or if the unit is deemed usable as-is, it can be returned without repair.

In such cases, the inspection fee and return shipping cost will be charged.
