Testimonials

The kind guidance from the teacher is very appreciated and the lessons are very relaxing.
I first learned sashiko, which I enjoyed so much, and now I'm making dishcloths at my own pace. I'm a complete beginner at sewing and very clumsy, but the teacher helped me make the dress, and it turned out really well, so I wear it to every parent-teacher conference.
The lessons are relaxed, and the other students' work is wonderful and inspiring.
I enjoy every class.
I'm looking forward to
continuing to attend the lessons!

I'm not good at dressmaking, so making supplies for my kids's kindergarten and
elementary school was not an option,
but... I was really touched by the teacher's approach to craftsmanship,
and I'm having so much fun participating!
She teaches carefully, clearly, and very kindly, starting from the basics. Every time I learn, I'm touched by the teacher's wonderful sense and positive mind, and as I use the sewing machine and iron, I realize, "I can do this after all!" And my fear of it has disappeared.
Now I enjoy finding what I love and
turning it into something.

I've been self-taught until now,
but I really feel the efficiency of learning.
I can solve any problems I don't understand on the spot, and I'm happy when the teacher shares her accumulated know-how, like,
"It's not in the book, but actually,
it would be better if you did it this way!"
He values each student's individuality when giving advice, and it's fascinating to see how completely different pieces are created
even with the same assignment!
The other students' works are so beautiful.

I want to make things for my kids, clothes, accessories, etc.,
but I'm not good with sewing machines and haven't been able to get around to it for years...Since I started going to atelier happy-sun, there's hardly a day that goes by without me touching a sewing machine!
and my teacher brought out
the best in each student.
Surprisingly, I gained confidence in the things I made.I learned a lot while having fun and was inspired in many ways. Thanks to the teacher who was considerate of my feelings,
I now enjoy sewing every day.♪

I'm having fun attending classes
with my one-year-old son.
I'm really grateful that
they welcome me warmly even with my baby.
I'm a lazy and careless person, but the teacher carefully taught me from the basics and taught me the importance of "slow
and steady wins the race." Also,
I can work happily with the teacher and other students, so even if I make a mistake, I learned from the basics in a fun and thorough way, I can laugh it off and move on.
It's a wonderful place that makes me feel positive!

I love sewing, but I've always been hesitant to take the time to get out my sewing machine.
But now I can sew right away at Happy-sun, so whenever I have free time, I can go to Happy-sun!! and work hard at my housework and work. Whether it's remaking kids' clothes
or clothes for myself,
if I get confused, I can ask the teacher right away, and when I can make it exactly how I imagined it,
I feel really attached to it. ❤️
Honestly, I didn't expect to get so hooked,
and it made me realize that
this was a hurdle for me.

My kids' kindergarten and elementary school bags, etc. Of course, I've always worked hard on these handmade projects, but I've always thought,
"Oh well, it's okay if it's not visible!"
I've always just let these crafts slide. I decided to learn from the basics at Pappy!
Toco's craftsmanship is so enjoyable,
and many students attend this class because of her unique sense of craftsmanship. ☺︎

At the atelier happy-sun, I made many matching outfits for parents and children.
Pants, overalls, jumper skirts...
The teacher's designs are playful and stylish,
so each outfit is unique and
not available ready-to-wear.
I also learned how to work with various fabrics, such as knit, tulle, and corduroy,
which has helped me with my crafts at home.

atelier happy-sun taught me from the basics,
so I gained a solid knowledge of dressmaking.
The teacher's original patterns are so cute,
and being able to make my own clothes
in my own size is so appealing.
I always look forward to showing each other
our finished creations!
